This Refund Policy describes the limited circumstances in which refunds are available for purchases on Battle Skin Trade.
1. The general rule — no refund on delivered digital items
Counter-Strike 2 Skins are digital content delivered via Steam trade offer. Once a trade offer is initiated and accepted, the item has been delivered and cannot be recovered or returned — the underlying Steam ecosystem provides no reversal mechanism. By completing checkout you expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged loss of the right of withdrawal (see Terms of Service §6).
2. When you ARE entitled to a refund
2.1 We failed to deliver
If we are unable to deliver the purchased item within 7 days of payment for reasons within our control (e.g., supplier issue, listing error, stock discrepancy), we will refund the full amount to the original payment method within 5 business days.
2.2 Delivery blocked by your Steam account state — partial refund
If we attempt delivery but the trade offer cannot complete due to your Steam account status (trade ban, full inventory, invalid trade URL, missing Mobile Authenticator, etc.), we will hold the order for 7 days. If you cannot resolve the issue within that window, we refund the purchase minus a 5% handling fee.
2.3 Item materially differs from listing
If the delivered item materially differs from the listing (wrong skin, wrong exterior, wrong float range, missing StatTrak™/Souvenir attribute when listed as such), you may request a refund or replacement within 24 hours of delivery. We will verify the discrepancy via the in-game inspect link and either replace the item or issue a full refund.
2.4 Payment authorization issue
If a payment is captured but no order is created in our system (rare technical failure), we refund automatically within 5 business days of detection.
2.5 Chargebacks and fraud claims
Fraudulent chargebacks are forwarded to our payment processor and may result in account suspension and recovery action through the issuing bank. Legitimate disputes should be raised with us first via our Contact page before initiating a chargeback.
3. When refunds are NOT available
- Item was delivered correctly and you simply changed your mind.
- Item’s market value has dropped since purchase.
- You re-sold or traded the item and now wish to reverse the original purchase.
- You provided an incorrect Steam trade URL and the item was delivered to a different account.
- Cosmetic disagreement with the float value, pattern index, or sticker placement when these were disclosed on the product page.
4. How to request a refund
- Contact us via our Contact page with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Include any screenshots, Steam inspect links, or trade history relevant to the claim.
- We respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original payment method.
5. Statutory rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU or your local consumer protection law. The exclusion of the 14-day withdrawal period applies specifically to digital content delivered with your prior express consent (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)).
